Papers of Lyman Whiting, 1836-1906.

The papers of Lyman Whiting document the life and career of a nineteenth century clergyman. There is correspondence of both a personal and professional nature, more than thirty diaries, and nine boxes of his sermons. Also included are materials relating to his various pastorates in Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
